Ummm...I don't get hurt.
HAHAH that's funny.
But seriously, I don't know who has hurt me recently, or what about...or what I would say. I recognize that when I get hurt it's mostly because I put things out of proportion, and rarely does anyone mean to. So what would I say? "I'm sorry. You did nothing to intend to hurt me but I got hurt anyway"? Because that makes sense.

How about not someone in specific, but a general group of people?

Haha. I think I'm funny. :)

Day 21 - Dollar Magic!

Day 21 – A photo of something that makes you happy.

That's hard. Everything makes me happy. Okay, almost. Ummm...the other day John and I went to the dollar store. I LOVE the dollar store. It makes me happy.

It's a magical place! There is all this junk that you never knew you needed and you can get all of it for just a dollar! YAY!!!!!

John made me sad a few months ago. He said that you can get a lot of that stuff for cheaper at Wal-mart and stuff. It made me want to cry. But when we went there yesterday, he finally understood the magic. Sure, not everything is the best deal, but everything is A deal! Everything! So you want to buy everything, and if it breaks, who cares? It was just a dollar! We spent over $20 there. John was like, "I finally get how my Mom could go to the dollar store all the time and spend $50."
I refrained from telling him I had gone with his mother there more than once and spent...somewhere around that, we'll say =D

One of the things that makes me love dollar stores so much is that they're not afraid to do lilac stuff. It makes me so happy, because it seems everyone else in the world refuses to do lilac smelling anything. Stupid lavender. It took over the purple flower spot, when lilac is SO clearly a million times better.

In any case, we bought lilac smelly stuff. Those cones that are virtually useless because they only slightly smell up a 1-foot radius? But who cares, they were only a dollar and they smelled like heaven!!!

Why a Bowl and Why Nutshells?


My Life in a Bowl of Nutshells?

Simple, really. I talk a lot. I talk a lot of nonsense. My talking a lot of nonsense produces a record of my life. Often that record goes unrecorded, unfortunately, which is why this blog is here: to be added to the long list of helps in the recording-Brin's-nonsense-life business.

"In a nutshell" means it's condensed -- a summary, if you will. I'm afraid I'm not very good at summaries, but everything I say is a summary of my life, and since I have so many things to say I have many nutshells of my life.

So: a bowl of nutshells. A rather big bowl, in my head, and perhaps this blog might get to that point.

Hugh Jackman. I'm not a gay guy, but he's the only big screen face that makes me want to disgustingly slobber all over myself. Wolverine pushed me over the edge. I'm pathetic, I know. But isn't that what a celebrity crush is all about? I mean, we're all aching for someone we'll likely never meet, let alone have. And even if we do meet them we would mean absolutely nothing to them. Yep. We humans, especially Americans, make absolutely no sense. At least I'm willing to admit it, eh? :)

But hey, how is he not sexy with that hair, jeans, smile, smile wrinkles. He's going to age well, admit it. :)
