Random PRTSC
Sometimes, I take a screen shot
(you have a little button that says "PRTSC")
because my life is hilarious.
...and my life exists on the computer?
Of course I save the hilarious bits, but they're only so hilarious if I don't share them.
So I am going to share
Because they are hilarious.

Crime Scene Hot Shoe
Am I the only one who thinks this picture looks like it was taken straight from a crime scene?
Facebook Anniversary Reminder
Thank you, Facebook. I had no idea.
John Smack Brin
I swear, officer, I just ran into a firewall!
Volatile Savings
Disclaimer:
I have never been to a crime scene.
I know when my Anniversary is.
John does not beat me. (physically or at games :P)
We are fairly smart with our finances.

Dull Family Moments
Every month on the first Sunday we Nelsons have a "Family Chat."
I love the idea of having this time to talk with all my family, getting caught up with more than just the "weekly" letters only a couple of us send out. It's different to have a conversation, even electronically, instead of just a general "here ya go" of lives.
Unfortunately, our chats are not as successful as I envision. This has led to much discussion between John and I as to what could fix that. I'm not here to go on and on about solutions or vent about problems.

I'm here because I think I'm hilarious, and I think my family's reactions are even more hilarious.
Pigtails.
Sometimes John squeezes and pokes and bites me.
Today he compared it to an elementary school boy who pulls on a girl's pigtails.
"I just like you so much. I have all this energy, I can't contain it and I don't know how else to let it out.
"I like you so much!!!"
:)
I like him, too.

Paradise Permeating
I've talked about my obsession with lilacs before:
Day 12: Lilacs
Day 23: 15 Facts
Day 1: 15 Facts by Johnny
So I don't think I have to explain back story. :)
In the second link it shows a picture of some of the lilac-smelling things I own. Despite my desire to smell lilacs all the time, I have purposefully procrastinated using most of them. Why? Because I didn't want to waste them on places that simply didn't deserve this divine smell.
Well, I'm in my own home. I've had one of my oil-heater thingies set up in the front room for a while, but I didn't have any unscented votive candles to use (I have plenty of lilac smelling votive candles :P). I bought a bag of tealights (discounted!) the other day so...go.
I got distracted and temporarily forgot about it.
Then I smelt this absolutely heavenly amazing smell, and I was confused. I've been too busy since I got home from school (ending in Zumba) to shower yet, so there's no way it was me. Even my perfume from this morning has faded. I didn't get it.
Then I did.
And I'm in paradise.
I am SO glad that it works. I've been worried that none of them would work since the house is big and there is a lot of open air to permeate. But it does it well. And I am happy.
