But that was mostly because I liked them when I was little and they were nostalgic for me.

Nowadays it's usually just whatever movie I saw recently that appealed to me best.

And Ocean's Eleven has been the only movie I willingly watched over and over

Lately I've practically worshiped Sherlock Holmes. Why not? It's freaking amazing!!!!!! And one of the few movies that lived up to its trailers.
